Built at
a real rink

DUSTER started with one rink’s schedule: Family Ice Center, Falmouth, Maine. Every rental, every group, every month-end bill.

I’ve been playing hockey since I was five. On the ice they call me Uncle Joe, and I love all of it — the game, the cold air when you walk into the rink, the noise of the room before puck drop, and the beers with the team after.

DUSTER exists because of two people. Ronnie Adams connected me with Josh Brainerd, the rink manager at Family Ice Center, and Josh needed a better way to schedule his ice and bill for it. We built DUSTER around how his rink actually runs. Ronnie and Josh are the foundation of this whole thing.

Today DUSTER runs Family Ice Center’s ice every day, and the month-end usage sheet their billing is done from comes straight out of it.

see you on the ice!— Chuck “Uncle Joe” Blier
